Social Media Intern

About the Role: This isn't a "watch and learn" internship. From day one, you'll own the social media presence for a growing real estate brand — managing accounts, creating content, engaging with an active community, and using AI tools to work smarter and faster. By the end of the semester, you'll have a real portfolio, real results, and real experience hiring your own successor.

What You'll Do

  • Build, manage, and grow our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Engage daily with followers on both our business page and the principal's personal page
  • Deliver a weekly digest of notable interactions - comments, DMs, milestones, so our team can follow up with personal outreach (phone calls, handwritten cards)
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, scheduling platforms) to streamline content creation and posting
  • Develop videos from local pictures, interviews, and events for YouTube channel
  • At the end of your semester, lead the full hiring process to recruit and onboard your replacement

What We're Looking For

  • Active, enthusiastic user of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn; you follow trends, you notice what works
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools; you don't need to be an expert, but you need to be curious
  • Strong written voice; warm, professional, and human
  • Self-starter who can manage a weekly schedule without being micromanaged
  • Interest in real estate, sales, or entrepreneurship is a genuine plus

What You'll Get

  • Hands-on ownership of a real brand's digital presence (not just shadow posting)
  • A portfolio of content, analytics, and campaign results
  • Mentorship from an active real estate professional
  • Experience in client relationship management — one of the most transferable skills in any field
  • The leadership experience of hiring your own replacement (rare for an internship)
  • Project-based compensation or academic credit — your choice based on what works for your situation

To Apply: Send a brief note via email telling us: which social media account you think is doing something really well right now and why. Attach or link to any content you've created. No formal cover letter needed — just show us how you think.
