Clinical Care Coordinator

As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will work closely with physicians, clinical teams, and operational leadership to support both the patient journey and the daily clinical infrastructure of the practice. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

Assist the Associate Clinical Director in overseeing daily clinical functions, workflow coordination, operational efficiency, and patient care processes across the practice. 

Deliver a high-touch, professional, and empathetic patient experience throughout all stages of care. 

Serve as a key liaison between patients, physicians, providers, and clinical teams to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care. 

Coordinate patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, documentation, and patient flow operations. 

Manage high-volume patient communication, including clinical calls regarding treatment plans, medications, appointments, and next steps. 

Provide clear and accurate patient guidance based on physician direction and established clinical protocols. 

Escalate urgent or sensitive clinical matters appropriately and in a timely manner. 

Support physicians and clinical teams through real-time scribing, documentation, and chart preparation. 

Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within EMR systems and patient records. 

Assist with administrative coordination including document management, scanning, medical records, and operational support tasks. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency, patient experience, and operational organization. 

Contribute to a highly organized, patient-centered, and solutions-oriented clinical environment. 

Support additional operational and clinical initiatives as needed in a rapidly growing organization. 

Job Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree required. 

Background in healthcare, clinical operations, patient coordination, biology, nursing, public health, pre-med, or related fields strongly preferred. 

Prior experience in a healthcare or patient-facing clinical environment preferred. 

Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations professionally and empathetically. 

Ability to multitask and remain highly organized in a fast-paced environment. 

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure. 

Comfortable handling high-volume patient communication and operational coordination. 

Proficiency in EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and healthcare documentation workflows preferred. 

Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative independently. 

Strong professionalism, emotional intelligence, discretion, and patient-centered mindset. 

Work Environment 

This role operates within a fast-paced fertility and women’s health clinical environment requiring close collaboration with physicians, clinical teams, and operational leadership. The position combines patient-facing responsibilities with clinical coordination and operational support. 
 
This role may require availability for weekends, holidays, flexible scheduling, and occasional on-call responsibilities based on operational and patient care needs.
