Internship Overview

The Sales & Marketing Associate Intern will support the company’s growth efforts by helping capture, organize, and analyze new leads generated through digital marketing channels. This internship offers hands-on experience inside an early-stage startup where marketing, data, and customer acquisition are closely connected.

The intern will work directly with the founder to support digital advertising campaigns, process inbound leads, and help track marketing performance. This role provides practical exposure to how startups build marketing funnels, test campaigns, and measure the cost of acquiring new customers.

Students will gain real-world experience with CRM systems, digital ad platforms, and marketing analytics while learning how growth strategies are developed and executed in a startup environment.

Learning Objectives

During this internship, students will gain experience in:

Understanding how digital marketing funnels work (ads → clicks → leads → customers)

Learning how businesses capture and manage inbound leads

Organizing and segmenting contacts within a CRM system

Supporting digital advertising campaigns

Calculating marketing metrics such as Cost per Lead and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Core Responsibilities

The intern will assist with several operational and marketing activities, including:

Capturing inbound leads from digital marketing channels and landing pages

Processing and organizing new contacts within the company’s CRM

Applying tags and segmentation to help manage lead categories

Supporting the setup and monitoring of digital advertising campaigns

Reviewing lead flow and identifying trends in campaign performance

Maintaining simple tracking dashboards for marketing results

Assisting with the calculation of Cost per Lead and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Supporting marketing experiments such as testing ad variations or messaging

Documenting insights from campaigns to help improve marketing performance

Tools & Platforms the Intern May Use

The intern may gain experience using tools such as:

CRM systems for managing contacts and leads

Marketing automation platforms

Digital advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads)

Analytics dashboards and reporting tools

Landing page or funnel building platforms

Training will be provided for all tools used during the internship.
