Homeland Security Investigations Philadelphia Fall 2026 Intern

THE DHS/HSI VOLUNTEER PROGRAM:
The DHS/HSI Volunteer Program is a dedicated hands-on experience designed to provide educationally related work assignments for students in a non-pay status. Based upon their background, interests, and experience, students are assigned to an investigative group that covers one or more programmatic areas (e.g., child exploitation, narcotics smuggling, cybercrime, etc.).  Students can get college credits as part of this internship.
QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGILIBITY CRITERIA:
Individuals must meet the following criteria:
• Enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student at the time of the internship.
• Undergraduate cumulative grade point average (GPA) must be 3.0 or above.
• Must be for college credit.
• U.S. Citizen
• Favorable completion of criminal history check, background investigation, and drug screening.

Interested students must email the documents listed below to HSIPhiladelphiaRecruitment@hsi.dhs.gov. The documents must be attached to the email as a single PDF file.
• Resume- must include full name, expected graduation date, GPA, address, email address, and phone number
• College Transcripts
o An unofficial copy of the transcripts is sufficient. Students selected into the program will be required to submit official transcripts.
The title/subject line of the application email must be in the following format:
• SVP Semester Information- College/University Name- Student Name (e.g., “SVP Spring 2024- State University- John Doe”)
Failure to submit the required documents as a single PDF file and/or format the subject line as instructed may result in the student not being considered for participation.

Students can be considered for various HSI offices in PA and DE.
