About the Jackson, MI Facility:
Jackson facility is a world-class production and testing site focused on surface treatment and high-performance industrial solutions. This site is a leader in sustainability, operating on 100% renewable electricity. Interns here gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically focusing on quality control, non-destructive testing (NDT), and chemical engineering processes that support the global aerospace and automotive markets.
 

Area of work: PT (Penetrant Testing) & NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

Location: Jackson, MI

Duration: 3-6 Months
 

Job Summary:

• This hands-on role in Jackson, MI, focuses on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Penetrant Testing (PT).
• You will assist in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of materials used in aerospace and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist certified technicians in NDT inspections (Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, or Penetrant).
• Document test results and maintain quality records for industrial components.
• Support lab safety protocols and equipment maintenance.

Requirements & Qualification:
 

• Current undergraduate students - Sophomore, Junior or Seniors in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related STEM field
• Interest in quality control and manufacturing processes.
