Pareto Aluminum Systems is redefining how mobility and commercial vehicles are built. Our modular aluminum flooring system (ALFO) enables faster installs, flexible seating configurations, and lightweight vehicle solutions for wheelchair-accessible vans and commercial fleets.
We are building a high-performance, execution-focused team to scale rapidly — and we are looking for a Sales Engineer who can bridge engineering, operations, and sales to drive growth.
🎯 Role Overview
This is a high-ownership, technical, customer-facing role that combines engineering understanding, sales execution, and operational coordination.
You will not only drive revenue, but also ensure that what is sold is technically sound, compliant, and executed seamlessly across manufacturing, warehouse, and accounting.
đź”§ Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Execution
- Engage with dealers, upfitters, OEMs, and fleet customers to understand vehicle requirementsÂ
- Develop and propose technical solutions and layouts using Pareto systemsÂ
- Translate customer needs into clear proposals, quotes, and specificationsÂ
- Drive opportunities from initial discussion → technical validation → close
- Lead product demos, technical presentations, and early install supportÂ
Compliance & Technical Understanding
- Develop strong understanding of FMVSS requirements relevant to Pareto productsÂ
- Ensure proposed solutions align with safety, compliance, and testing requirementsÂ
- Support customers in understanding compliance implications during design and purchaseÂ
Order Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Own the end-to-end fulfillment process for customer ordersÂ
- Coordinate with:Â
- Manufacturing → production planning & readinessÂ
- Warehouse → inventory, packing, and shipmentÂ
- Accounting → invoicing, payments, and order closureÂ
- Ensure orders are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with customer expectationsÂ
Feedback Loop & Continuous Improvement
- Gather structured product and installation feedback from customersÂ
- Translate real-world insights into actionable input for:Â
- Engineering (design improvements)Â
- Manufacturing (process optimization)Â
- Marketing (messaging and positioning)Â
- Identify recurring issues and proactively drive solutionsÂ
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and operations to ensure feasibility and scalabilityÂ
- Help define standard configurations, pricing logic, and sales toolsÂ
- Support development of technical documentation and training materialsÂ

Required:
- Strong understanding of:Â
- Commercial vehicles (Transit, Promaster, Sprinter, etc.)Â
- Mechanical systems, mounting, and layoutsÂ
- Ability to operate across sales, engineering, and operations simultaneously
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to execute independentlyÂ
Preferred:
- Experience with mobility / ADA vehicles or fleet upfittingÂ
- Familiarity with FMVSS standards or vehicle compliance requirementsÂ
- Experience working with manufacturing or production environmentsÂ
- CAD or layout tool experienceÂ
- Hands-on installation or shop backgroundÂ
