Art Teacher
BH2 STREAM School is seeking a creative, passionate, and innovative Art Teacher to develop and lead a dynamic art program for grades K–12. The ideal candidate will inspire scholars to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and express themselves through various art forms.
This role is essential in nurturing imagination, confidence, and artistic excellence while supporting the school’s STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging art instruction for grades K–12
- Teach a variety of art forms, including, but not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media
- Develop scholars’ understanding of art principles such as color, composition, design, and technique
- Encourage creativity, originality, and self-expression
- Integrate art history and cultural appreciation into lessons
- Create opportunities for scholar exhibitions, showcases, and competitions
- Incorporate cross-curricular connections within the STREAM framework
- Maintain and organize art supplies, materials, and classroom space
- Display scholar artwork throughout the school to celebrate achievement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
