About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, high-energy, and dedicated English Teacher to join our growing team in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundational language skills of young learners (K2 to P2) using engaging and innovative teaching methodologies. This is a long-term or 2-year contract position for someone who truly loves working with children and wants to build a career within Singapore’s vibrant education sector.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Impact Teaching: Deliver engaging English lessons to small groups of students, focusing on phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and confident speaking.
  • Curriculum Engagement: Adapt and deliver our specialized curriculum to meet the developmental needs of children aged 5 to 8, ensuring a fun and gamified learning environment.
  • Student Progress Tracking: Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
  • Relationship Building: Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom atmosphere that inspires a love for the English language.
  • Parent Communication: Conduct regular updates with parents regarding their child’s learning journey and academic milestones.

 

Who We Are Looking For

  • Native-Level Proficiency: You should be a native English speaker or possess native-level fluency with a clear, neutral accent and excellent pronunciation.
  • Passion for Early Education: A genuine love for children is a must. You should be patient, nurturing, and able to connect with young learners on their level.
  • Commitment to Singapore: We are looking for candidates who are currently based in Singapore or are willing to commit to a long-term career here.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in English, Education, or Linguistics).
  • Dynamic Personality: You are energetic, creative, and comfortable using physical movements, props, and storytelling to keep children engaged.
