Student Ministries Director
Malibu Pacific Church is looking for a student ministries director to help run the middle school and high school ministry. We are open to 20 hours through full-time with an excellent salary and benefits.
The specific job responsibilities are:
Middle School:
Sunday morning
- Lead weekly Sunday morning student environment
- Coordinate V olunteers
- Plan engaging game
- Plan teaching
- Prepare small group discussion
Youth Group
- Lead weekly Youth Group environment
- Coordinate food, and hospitality for students
- Coordinate Volunteers
- Plan engaging game
- Plan teaching
- Prepare small group discussion
High School:
Youth Group
- Coordinate food, and hospitality for students
- Coordinate Volunteers
- Plan engaging game
- Plan teaching
- Prepare small group discussion
- Plan one special outreach event per semester
- Invest in 2-3 high school students outside of normal gatherings
- Go to the Malibu High School at least once per month (sport game, performances, lunch)
- Go to Oaks Christian at least once per month (sport game, performances, lunch)
Continuous Responsibilities:
- Create cohesion between middle and high school ministries
- Recruit and Equip volunteers who will invest in the lives of studentsBe present in the lives of students (visiting during lunch period, going to games, performances, etc)
- Carry out vision of the youth ministry
- Organize, market, and go to Winter Camp
- Organize, market, and go to Summer Camp
- Host volunteer team once per semester for team cohesion, encouragement, and equipping
- Weekly Email Communication
- Ensure accuracy of website with ministry program
