About Us
We’re developing technologies that combine biology, chemistry, and engineering to enable new approaches for sample collection and molecular analysis. Our work focuses on building integrated systems, including both instrument and consumable to simplify sample preparation and nucleic acid amplification workflows.
The Role
We are looking for a highly hands-on R&D Research Associate to support development and testing of consumables used for sample preparations and PCR workflows. This role involves preparing reagents, building chips and consumables, running experiments, and collecting and analysing data. You will work closely with R&D Engineers and Scientists to support ongoing R&D work.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare reagents, buffers, and assay mixtures
- Perform PCR experiments
- Perform sample preparation, reaction setup, and execute experiments
- Build and prepare chips and consumables for testing
- Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data
- Troubleshoot experiments and help improve workflows
- Maintain clear and organized documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience (academic or industry)
- Experience with PCR or RT-PCR workflows
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Comfortable preparing reagents and running experiments
- Organized and details oriented
