Crescent Summer Internship Program
Crescent’s paid summer internship program is designed to provide undergraduate students with a challenging and meaningful experience that closely mirrors the responsibilities and exposure of full-time employees. The program emphasizes professional development, collaboration, and exposure to the alternative asset management industry.
Interns will receive hands-on experience through day-to-day responsibilities while participating in a structured program that includes mentoring, networking opportunities, and educational programming.
Role Overview
Crescent’s Investor Solutions team manages relationships with institutional clients, prospective investors, and investment consultants, and leads the firm’s global capital-raising efforts.
Investor Solutions is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate intern to support the team across a six-week internship in New York City. This role will provide hands-on exposure to institutional fundraising, investor communications, CRM management, market intelligence, and performance analysis. The intern will contribute to active fundraising initiatives while completing defined research assignments and IR reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on institutional investors, consultants, and peer managers using industry databases and trade publications.
- Assist in developing and refining target outreach lists for fundraising initiatives.
- Support the preparation of investor-facing materials, including pitch deck updates, briefing notes, and performance summaries.
- Maintain and update Salesforce CRM records with investor contact information, meeting notes, and pipeline activity.
- Compile reports and dashboards tracking investor engagement and fundraising metrics.
- Monitor market trends, capital markets developments, and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities.
- Assist with meeting preparation, follow-up communications, and internal reporting.
- Support ad hoc strategic, marketing, and investor relations projects.
- Help respond to investor inquiries and internal information requests.
Qualifications
- Rising undergraduate senior (graduating in Spring 2027) actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated interest in asset management, capital markets, or investor relations.
