DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be leading and coordinating comprehensive nutrition care for patients, including assessments, diet planning, counseling, discharge planning, and participation in interdisciplinary treatment teams. Work involves developing and monitoring modified diets, evaluating patient response, and recommending menu improvements in alignment with current standards of practice. You will be required to maintain compliance with regulatory, licensure, and continuing education requirements while supporting quality improvement initiatives such as audits and peer reviews. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with clinical and food service teams, maintain accurate nutrition records and meal tracking systems, as well as provide guidance to staff to ensure high-quality nutrition care. Additional responsibilities include:
- Contributing to policy development, staff training, and nutrition education for patients, families, and staff
- Preparing monthly reports
- Participating in committees regarding the clinical nutrition care of consumers
- Supporting departmental and hospital operations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirements:
- This position requires Certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.
