DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will develop, implement, evaluate, and monitor the treatment for assigned patients at Selinsgrove Center. You will oversee Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) by setting priorities and establishing accountability for assignments. You will also plan and organize comprehensive nursing services, direct non-professional staff in the provision of health and related services, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. This role requires effective organizational skills and solid leadership to review employee performance, coordinate training needs, and provide developmental coaching and counseling. In addition, you will participate in committees and work groups, investigate reports of medicine or treatment deviations, and document Nursing Assessments and Physician’s Plan of Care changes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 3rd shift (10:15 PM to 6:15 AM), with a 30-minute lunch. You will work every other weekend and have rotating days off during the week.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Special Requirements:
- You must be in possession of active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
