Interns work closely with staff at all levels and learn what it takes to contribute to the growth of an organization and the hospitality industry as a whole.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP: This internship is designed to provide hands-on, real-world experience within a dynamic hospitality environment. Interns will gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a working resort while developing practical skills aligned with their academic background and career interests.
Internships are offered across multiple departments, and applicants will select their preferred internship path based on their experience, college major, and areas of interest. While each internship path has a distinct focus, all interns will be part of a collaborative team and are expected to contribute meaningfully to the guest experience and overall operation.
This is a learning-forward opportunity that balances structured mentorship with hands-on responsibility. Interns will work closely with department leaders, participate in regular check-ins, and gain insight into how different areas of the resort work together to deliver exceptional hospitality.
AVAILABLE INTERNSHIP PATHS:
Marketing: content creation, social media, brand support, promotions, and campaign planning
Finance & Administration: budget tracking, reporting, operational finance support
Culinary: kitchen operations, food preparation, back-of-house workflows
Operations/Front Desk: guest services, reservations, daily operations, and cross-department
coordination
Horticulture & Groundskeeping: landscape maintenance, seasonal planning, and stewardship of outdoor space at the resort and Blackrock Farm
ABOUT THE JOB:
• Participate in a structured, hands-on internship experience within one primary department based on your interests, academic focus, and experience

Work alongside department leaders and team members to support daily operations and longer- term projects
Gain practical, real-world experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Learn how different departments collaborate to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Take initiative, ask questions, and actively engage in problem-solving and teamwork
Complete assigned projects, tasks, and learning objectives specific to your internship path
Participate in regular check-ins, feedback conversations, and learning opportunities throughout
the program
Prepare and present an end-of-summer capstone project
ABOUT YOU:
- Enrolled in a two- or four-year post-secondary academic program
- Success with handling multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Confident asking for help when necessary
- Aptitude for learning new skills
- Punctual and reliable
