Samuel M. Melton Religious School is part of Congregation Tifereth Israel, an egalitarian Conservative synagogue, located in Columbus, OH.

Through play, movement, song, art, storytelling, and technology, Samuel M. Melton Religious School students in kindergarten through seventh grade learn the rituals and traditions that make up our Jewish faith, culture, and heritage.

  • We are looking for someone with a general Jewish knowledge who enjoys teaching and working with school-age kids
  • Our Religious School (pre K - 12) is part of an egalitarian Conservative synagogue
  • Wage is based on knowledge and experience
  • Our calendar is only 26 Sundays between August 2026- May 2027
  • Your hours are Sundays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Jewish and national holidays off)
  • We provide lesson plans with room for creativity
  • We have small class sizes
