Baker / Breakfast Chef

Come work as our Baker and Breakfast Chef at Camp Winnebago!

INTRODUCTION

Hi there!

Camp Winnebago is one of the oldest and best boys sleepaway summer camps in the nation. Winnebago is a small, inclusive, and vibrant camp where the boys stay with us for the entire summer (7 weeks) and come away transformed. You can read more about our community here

Winnebago seeks a Baker/Breakfast Chef to join our hard-working and fun-loving kitchen and dining hall staff. We serve 200-230 people three times a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Head Chef handles lunch and dinner directly. The Baker/Breakfast Chef takes care of breakfast and then bakes one fresh-baked dessert a day.

The Winnebago Dining Hall and Kitchen is one of the crucial main centers of our community. Boys and staff come to Winnebago from all over the country and world. This makes our meals a source of comfort, sustenance, and connection. Food is crucial to a person feeling at home here. That’s where you come in.

We need a competent and professional Baker/Head Breakfast Chef to make sure everyone’s day starts right with breakfast and ends with joy each evening with dessert. The right candidate is hard-working, good-humored, likes being around young people, and working as a member of a close team.
