Ballet Teacher — Conservatory Ballet (Afternoons & Weekends)
📍 Great Falls, VA
Part-Time | Competitive Hourly Compensation

Seeking a dedicated, experienced ballet teacher to join our faculty for afternoon and weekend classes. Our school upholds strong classical technique, discipline, musicality, and an encouraging environment for dancers of all ages.

About the Role:
We are looking for a teacher who provides clear, structured instruction; supports the development of strong foundational technique; and contributes to a positive, high-standard studio culture. Ideal for someone passionate about teaching, committed to consistency, and comfortable working with young dancers through intermediate levels.

Responsibilities:
• Teach ballet technique classes on weekday afternoons and weekends
• Provide corrections, guidance, and level-appropriate progressions
• Support choreography, rehearsal coaching, and class management as needed
• Maintain a structured, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment
• Communicate professionally with families and staff
• Support school culture, expectations, and student development

Qualifications:
• Strong background in classical ballet; Vaganova experience a plus
• Prior teaching experience with children and/or youth dancers
• Ability to maintain classroom structure, clarity, and high standards
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Availability afternoons and weekends (required)

Warm, punctual, disciplined, supportive, organized, passionate about teaching, and committed to helping young dancers grow with confidence and respect for the art.
