Preschool Ballet Teacher — Principal Ballet (Daytime & Weekends)

Part-Time | Weekday Daytime + Weekends | Competitive Hourly Compensation

Principal Ballet is seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced Preschool Ballet Teacher to lead our early-childhood ballet classes during weekday daytime hours and weekends. We are looking for an educator who combines strong ballet fundamentals with age-appropriate teaching methods that inspire creativity, structure, and joy in our youngest dancers.

About the Role:
This teacher will introduce children ages 2–6 to ballet foundations through music, storytelling, imaginative play, and gentle discipline. The ideal candidate understands early childhood development, maintains excellent classroom management, and brings a nurturing, reliable presence to the studio.

Responsibilities:
• Teach preschool ballet classes on weekday mornings/afternoons and weekend mornings
• Create and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans
• Support early motor skills, coordination, musicality, and introductory technique
• Maintain a warm, structured, positive classroom environment
• Communicate clearly with parents and staff
• Prepare students for advancement into formal ballet levels

Qualifications:
• Experience teaching preschool or early childhood dance/education
• Strong classical ballet background (early-childhood training experience preferred)
• Excellent classroom management, patience, and communication
• Ability to lead imaginative lessons while keeping clear structure
• Reliable availability for weekday daytime and weekend classes

Personal Qualities:
Warm, nurturing, energetic, dependable, creative, structured, and passionate about early childhood movement education.
