Associate Dean and Assessment Office
Seeking an organized and self-motivated graduate student able to commit
10 hours per week during fall and spring semesters
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties:

Provide support to the Associate Dean.
- Assist with the professional dispositions concern process. Specifically, but not limited to, one-on-one work with improvement activities with students in the process.
- Collect research on curriculum, assessment, and accreditation for education preparation and social work programs as assigned.
- Maintain a list of Department Chairs, Program Chairs, and Assessment Coordinators for the CESW.
- Other research projects as assigned.

Provide support to the Assessment Office.
- Provide additional technical support, training, and troubleshooting for the current and future assessment management systems (i.e., Anthology’s Portfolio, Exxat Prism).
- Assemble and organize educator preparation and social work program information and data for the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), national accreditation, and federal reports.
- Support website maintenance as assigned.

Support the CESW Dean’s Office and other CESW Administrative Offices as requested.
- Serve as a Test Administrator in the WCU Professional Testing Center as needed.
- Assist the CESW Tech Center with large scope projects as needed.
- Other work as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently accepted graduate student,
- Experience providing structured feedback, skill-building support, and guidance related to improvement activities for students,
- Knowledge of reflective practice professional boundaries, and interpersonal functioning (strongly preferred),
- Communicates professionally and respectfully with students, faculty, and staff
- Maintains strict confidentiality with sensitive information and data,
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills,
- Effective time-management and organization skills,
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic,
- Reliable and willing to take initiative,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel and SharePoint) and has experience with other online platforms and software (e.g., Adobe, Canva),
- Experience or interest in educator preparation programs, social work, and/or counseling programs preferred, but not required
Compensation:
- 6 credits for fall semester
- 6 credits for spring semester
- $2500 stipend fall semester
- $2500 stipend spring semester
