Tasks
- Create technical drawings based on given specifications for mechanical parts and assemblies using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment; this could include engineering drawings, cut sheets/shop blueprints, installation documentation.
- Complete layouts, shop drawings, assign part numbers, create bills of materials, complete routings, cost estimates, and installation sheets; create drawing updates
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system and other data entry
- Works in various areas to learn design and manufacturing processes and capabilities
Qualifications:
- Currently or recently obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience with Solidworks
