Early Childhood Educator

Early Childhood Educator

St. Anne's School of Annapolis - Program for Young Children

About Us

St. Anne's School of Annapolis offers an exceptional Reggio Emilia-inspired, project-based learning experience for students from two years old through eighth grade. Through inquiry and research, students are actively engaged in projects and topics that are relevant and meaningful to them.

Our Program for Young Children serves Two Year Olds, Preschool (three year olds), and Prekindergarten (four year olds). Early literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies are designed to be learned in an interdisciplinary way that honors how young children naturally explore and make sense of their world. Social-emotional learning and development, along with the values of inclusion and diversity, are hallmarks of our school. This constructivist, Reggio Emilia-inspired educational environment enables students to forge their own learning paths.

Program Structure

Each grade level consists of two classes ranging in size from 12 students (Twos) to 16 students (Prekindergarten). Two highly qualified teachers—one lead and one assistant—work collaboratively in each classroom and are joined by support staff each afternoon for two hours.
