Program Overview

Harnham’s Summer Internship Program is an intensive 8-week experience designed to provide hands-on exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of how a high-performing recruitment business operates — from business development and client outreach to candidate sourcing, delivery, and successful placements.

This program offers a real-world introduction to sales, consulting, and talent acquisition while working alongside some of Harnham’s top-performing consultants.

What You’ll Learn

During the program, you will experience the full recruitment process, including:

• Conducting cold outreach and market research to support business development efforts
• Learning how consultants build and manage client relationships
• Understanding client hiring needs and talent market trends
• Sourcing and identifying high-quality technical candidates
• Supporting candidate screening and qualification processes
• Observing and participating in interview coordination and candidate delivery
• Gaining insight into negotiation, offer management, and placement strategy
• Seeing the recruitment lifecycle come full-circle from first outreach to successful hire

What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with experienced recruiters and top performers
• Shadow daily activities and learn proven recruitment strategies
• Assist with candidate sourcing using LinkedIn and internal tools
• Help maintain and update candidate and client records
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and live recruiting workflows
• Contribute to ongoing projects supporting client hiring initiatives

• Current undergraduate student or recent graduate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in sales, recruiting, consulting, or business development
• Competitive, motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable engaging with new people and building relationships
