Part-Time Coding & Robotics Instructor (San Francisco)-Beginner Level, Open to Students!
Whizara delivers interactive, student-focused coding and robotics programs that motivate K–12 students through hands-on, experiential learning.
We’re looking for motivated and energetic Coding and Robotics Instructors to teach in-person classes in San Francisco, CA. If you enjoy STEM education and helping students explore coding, robotics, and digital creation through engaging projects, we’d be excited to connect with you!
What You’ll Do
- Foster a welcoming, engaging, and supportive classroom where students feel confident exploring new ideas.
- Maintain punctuality and demonstrate professionalism, organization, and dependability during every session.
- Teach using Whizara’s ready-to-use coding and robotics curriculum—no lesson preparation required.
- Support students as they build, program, and develop projects, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Track student progress, offer positive and constructive feedback, and recognize accomplishments.
- Work collaboratively with students, school staff, and parents to ensure a rewarding learning experience.
- Communicate regularly with the Whizara team by sharing updates, insights, and feedback.
- Independently manage classroom activities with enthusiasm and care.
Who We’re Looking For
- Current college students or recent graduates in STEM Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with educational coding tools or robotics platforms (such as Scratch, Scratch Jr., robotics kits, or similar learning technologies).
- Familiarity with basic programming concepts (Scratch, Python, web development, or similar).
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills.
- Comfortable using computers and educational technology in a classroom environment.
- Able to effectively engage students from elementary through high school.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and passionate about empowering young learners through STEM.
