Job Title: Android Developer (Short-Term Project – Healthcare ML App)
Location: North Carolina (preferred)
Pay: $25/hour | Duration: ~40 hours
I am a professor at the UNCW School of Nursing seeking an Android developer to build a simple mobile app that integrates a logistic regression model for cognitive decline prediction.
Responsibilities:
• Develop a simple, user-friendly Android app with a form-based input interface 
• Implement an existing logistic regression model (coefficients provided) for on-device prediction 
• Display prediction results clearly (e.g., probability and risk level) 
• Ensure accurate functionality and basic testing 
Deliverables:
• Fully functional Android app (APK + source code) 
• Working prediction feature based on the provided model 
• Clean, readable code with brief documentation 
Requirements:
• Experience with Android development (Java or Kotlin) 
• Ability to implement basic mathematical models in code 
• Ability to complete a short-term project independently 
Preferred:
• Experience with healthcare-related applications 
Technical Notes:
• No backend or database required 
• Model will run entirely on-device 
• Logistic regression coefficients and input variables will be provided 
Timeline:
• Preferred completion within 2–3 weeks
