Application Developer Intern

Position Summary: 

We seek an Application Developer - Intern with qualified student status and moderate Python / Microsoft stack programming knowledge. 

 

Pay:

  • $25 dollars per hour

 

Duration:

  • This temporary assignment is for an approximate duration of 10 weeks, beginning on June 1 through August 7. 
  • Applicants must reside in and perform all work remotely from one of the following states for the entire duration of the internship: Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Utah.

 

Functions:

  • Participate in the design and development of functional specifications for internal applications
  • Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, software architects and IT professionals to implement solutions
  • Customize the systems to meet the business needs of the company
  • Assist with deployment and provisioning activities
  • Support acceptance tests and production tests
  • Work within a team structure to deliver system solutions

 

Technologies:

  • Python web frameworks and event-driven programming in Python
  • .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • MSSQL and Stored Procedures 
  • Blazor UI technologies
  • Design and development of REST API platforms
  • Azure Cloud development, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure ServiceBus, Azure Data Factory, DevOps

 

Education:

  • Pursuing a College or University degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

 

Learning Experience:

  • Angular / Blazor UI Frameworks
  • Scrum and other Agile processes
  • Third party apps/tools – Telerik UI, SyncFusion, Worksite
  • Python / .Net Framework
