Behavior Interventionist

Job Title: Behavior Interventionist - Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

Job Summary:
The Center for Psychological Services (CFPSonline.com) is seeking a dedicated Behavior Interventionist to join our team. We are seeking candidates to provide onsite (home, school, community) skills training to support children with behavior and social skills difficulties and parenting skills via telehealth to support the management of child behavior. We are seeking candidates who currently possess a QMHP and have experience working with children.

Must have reliable transportation, flexible availability, and the ability to work remotely/independently. Proficiency with technology, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and responsiveness are a must. Option for a contract or employee position. The rate is $20 an hour. Must pass background checks. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with behavioral difficulties, possess knowledge of psychological terminology, and be adept at maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Consideration will be given to individuals with a bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field who require training. 

Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and challenges
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide support and guidance to families of clients
- Utilize effective communication skills when working with individuals of all ages

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Experience working with children with behavioral difficulties
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in conducting patient assessments
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
- Previous work with individuals with ADHD and behavior challenges
- Understanding of behavioral intervention strategies
