Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join the Neuro Diagnostics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and continuous EEG recordings in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures, including electrode placement and equipment setup
- Monitor and document patient activity and clinical events during testing
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with EEG equipment
- Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate data collection
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or related field preferred
- Certification such as R. EEG T. (Registered EEG Technologist) preferred or eligible
- Minimum of 1–2 years of EEG experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of neurodiagnostic procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Requirements
- Current BLS certification (if required by facility)
- Ability to work day shifts and adapt to a clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
