Contract Support Specialist
Summary/objective - responsible for developing progress reports; generating monthly estimates including necessary adjustments; tracking time and updating time summaries; documenting project quantities for project pay items; processing change orders including Supplemental Agreements, Work Orders, and Unilateral Payments; and developing the Final Estimate. In addition, this role requires independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office aspects of the project.
Essential functions
· Prepares monthly progress estimates as well as the final estimate package upon final acceptance. Oversees project documentation control, including site source documents, time summary, and materials control.
· Assists in material acceptance, input, and review. May include Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) input and review.
· Tracks contractor submittals to include Shop Drawings, Request for Information (RFI), Notice of Intent (NOI), et al.
· Performs construction and contract administration as directed by project team.
· Assists in the review and preparation of supplemental agreements, work orders, and unilateral payments. Assists in developing cost estimates for negotiation purpose.
· Performs other job responsibilities as assigned within job scope. The duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

· Uses independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office aspects of the project.
· Must be able to work multiple complex construction projects concurrently.
· Should be familiar with the respective Client’s Procedures covering the project related duties as stated above and be proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform these duties.
· Proficient in following directions, interpreting specifications, reading project plans and typical sections.
· Technology: Must have basic computer/technology skills and experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, pdf etc. Must have experience and or be willing to learn and use the technology associated with successful completion of job duties including but not limited to Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, and Teams, and any client technology applications.
Position type and expected hours of work - A flexible work schedule is required as work activities may frequently change on short notice and you may be expected work more than 40 hours per week.
Travel - You may be required to drive more than 100 miles a day.
Required education and experience—Must have an Engineering Degree preferably in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
