Engineering Intern

About The Opportunity

Engineering Interns will collaborate closely with our Engineering team, gaining meaningful, hands‑on experience while applying the knowledge and skills they’ve developed in the classroom. This internship offers the opportunity to work on real projects, solve real problems, and build a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering fundamentals. It’s an ideal role for students who want to deepen their technical abilities, learn from experienced professionals, and see engineering principles come to life in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As an Engineering Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real‑world projects while learning from experienced engineers. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the design, development, and testing of active engineering projects.
  • Creating, updating, and refining technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and improving project documentation and data systems.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce cycle times, and optimize material usage.
  • Evaluating current quality control processes, identifying common defects and root causes, and recommending improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Preparing and delivering project outcome presentations to engineering leadership.
  • Performing additional engineering‑related tasks as assigned.

  • Demonstrated growth in technical, analytical, and professional skills

 

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Engineering program (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics, or related field)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

 

Desired Work Experience

  • Experience with prototyping, testing, or CAD software is a plus

  • Active student in good standing with a strong interest in an Engineering career
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and computer skills
  • Highly organized, self‑motivated, and professional in all interactions
