FanZ is seeking a motivated and community‑minded Community, Education & Academy Leadership Intern to support the structure, coordination, and growth of our education and academy initiatives. This role blends leadership development, program coordination, curriculum support, and community engagement — all within a mission‑driven, youth‑centered media environment.

You’ll help shape the learning experience for interns, apprentices, and academy participants across FanZ’s creative, media, and operations programs. This internship is ideal for students interested in education, youth development, coaching, program management, or nonprofit‑style leadership roles.

Position Overview

As a Community, Education & Academy Leadership Intern, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of FanZ’s academy programs, leadership pathways, and community engagement initiatives. You’ll help organize learning materials, support onboarding processes, track participation, and strengthen communication between academy leadership and program participants.

This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with people, building structure, and contributing to meaningful educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities

🎓 Program Coordination & Academy Support

  • Support the organization and coordination of FanZ Academy programs.
  • Assist with onboarding and engagement of interns, apprentices, and academy participants.
  • Help maintain schedules, learning pathways, and training materials.

🧭 Leadership & Coaching Support

  • Assist with leadership development initiatives and coaching‑focused programming.
  • Support communication between academy leadership, interns, and cross‑department teams.

🌐 Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Assist with community outreach and partnership coordination.
  • Support initiatives that connect FanZ programs with youth, creators, and community organizations.

🗂️ Documentation & Reporting

  • Help document academy processes, participation tracking, and program workflows.
  • Assist with reporting progress, participation, and program outcomes.

Required Availability

Interns must attend weekly virtual meetings:

  • Monday — 9:00 AM MST
  • Wednesday — 10:00 AM MST
  • Friday — 8:00 AM MST

SkillBridge participants also meet:

  • Thursday — 9:00 AM MST

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

  • Education
  • Leadership Studies
  • Communications
  • Human Development
  • Business Administration
  • Or a related field

Additional qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in education, leadership development, coaching, or community programs
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of students and team members
  • Comfortable working remotely using digital collaboration tools
  • Reliable internet connection

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or student leadership
  • Familiarity with learning platforms or training programs
  • Event coordination or program management experience

Academic Credit

Students must confirm eligibility with their school’s Internship Coordinator before accepting an offer.
