Diyar Private Academy — Girls Campus is a UAE Ministry of Education-accredited private school in Dibba Al Fujairah, serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. We are seeking qualified, passionate classroom teachers for AY 2025–2026 across multiple subject areas and phases.

About the role

Teachers at Diyar plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons, use data to track individual progress, and contribute to a collaborative professional learning community. We follow New York State Standards for core subjects. Senior secondary students (Grades 11–12) are enrolled in Core, Honors (Pre-AP), or AP tracks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned to curriculum standards for your assigned subject and grade level
  • Use assessment data to personalize learning and monitor student progress
  • Record and report on student attainment at regular intervals throughout the year
  • Maintain a positive, organized, and learning-focused classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and professional development
  • Participate in the school's instructional coaching program
  • Support student well-being and adhere to safeguarding policies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject discipline
  • Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Strong English proficiency; ability to deliver instruction in English
  • Commitment to student-centered, data-informed teaching practice

Preferred qualifications

  • 2+ years of classroom teaching experience; UAE/GCC experience an advantage
  • Familiarity with NWEA MAP, CAT4, or similar assessment tools
  • Experience with AP or Pre-AP programs (for senior secondary positions)
