Graphic Design Intern

ArtsNeeds is a growing platform designed to support studios, theaters, and arts organizations through resources, networking, and career opportunities. We are launching with a job board and expanding into a hub for the arts community.

Position Overview
ArtsNeeds is seeking a motivated Graphic Design & Marketing Intern to support our social media and branding efforts. This internship is designed as a learning experience, providing an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting, gain portfolio-worthy work, and build connections in the arts sector.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging graphics and content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Develop and schedule posts to grow brand visibility and engagement
  • Brainstorm and design campaigns to highlight jobs, resources, and community updates
  • Support marketing initiatives such as newsletters and promotional materials
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in Arts Administration, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • Strong design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Interest in social media strategy and content creation
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Passion for the arts and creativity a plus
