Real Estate Coordinator
*Take on this one-of-a kind co-op experience in the heart of downtown Jersey City in one of the top real estate agencies in all of Hudson County.
The task at hand is equipped for those individuals that aspire to bring value to the business world, aid supporting networks, and establish long life career values. Those selected will undertake office administrative duties, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.
Students and/or cohorts job roles will mimic actual positions which include transaction coordinators, marketing managers, and office administrators. You will be responsible for picking up calls from prospective leads, taking down notes for buyers and sellers, setting up appointments for agents and customer, as well as keeping documents organized throughout. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy, especially in handling office equipment. The Real estate Coordinator ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth.*
Responsibilities
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the Broker and agents.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Track inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
- Introduction to Customer Service, Real Estate essentials, and CRM technology.
The company is actively involved in implementing machine learning and AI solutions for transactions. Business, Finance, and accounting majors will also benefit from the real-world relationships. From communicating to clientele to managers, dealing with commission statements, and balance sheets. All encapsulates a very unique establishment which places the individual in a better position to the labor force.
Skills
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Outstanding intellect for computer and internet technology.
- Up-to-date with Social Media usage and the application of advertising listings.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software ex. CRMs
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferred
Summer start date - June 1st - July 24, 2026
- 30 hours per week
- $Stipend$ at end of term
