Marketing & Growth Intern - Summer 2026

About Us

Amrap is an NYU-backed startup building the next generation of fitness apps with AI agents. We’ve recently launched our product, a conversational personal trainer you can train with in real time at the gym.

We’re looking for a creative, motivated intern who loves content, social media, and marketing to help grow our startup. The intern will work on growing our social media presence, executing influencer marketing initiatives and supporting community interactions.  

We value expertise in AI tools and a strong interest in tech. Interest in fitness and strength training is a plus.

This internship is eligible for academic credit, and our team is happy to support any student who wishes to petition their school for credit.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
  • Duration: Temporary / Seasonal
  • Start: June 8, 2026
  • End: August 14, 2026
  • Type: Unpaid Internship
  • Location: Remote

Role Overview

You’ll help ideate, script, edit, and publish short-form videos, engage with our community, influencer marketing strategies and experiment with new AI tools to create faster and better.

This is ideal for someone who already makes or loves content, loves TikTok/IG culture, and wants to grow in a fast-paced startup.

What You'll Do

  • Help develop the marketing strategy for the brand.
  • Assist in shaping our brand voice and storytelling.
  • Support Influencer Marketing strategies
  • Create short-form videos and Instagram carousels for social media.
  • Support social posting, trend scouting, and content calendars.
  • Help manage comments + DMs to build a strong community.
  • Use AI tools (Higgsfield, Claude Code, Nano Banana Pro) to boost productivity and production.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

  • Creativity, motivation, and passion for content and social media.
  • Interest in Influencer Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok/Instagram trends and formats.
  • You already create content (personal, UGC, or creator-style).
  • Interest in AI tools for content creation.
  • Self-driven, proactive, excited about growing a brand.
  • Basic editing skills (CapCut, IG edits, TikTok editor, Canva).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI creation tools (Nano Banana Pro, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Runway…) and automation tools (ManyChat, Zapier, MailChimp…).
  • Interest in fitness or strength training.
  • Experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook.
