Position Summary

We’re looking for individuals who are genuinely interested in building a career—not just completing an internship.

If you’re curious, detail-oriented, and excited to learn by doing meaningful work alongside a supportive team, you’ll fit right in here.

We’re seeking a Marketing Intern who is excited to learn, contribute, and grow with our team. As a smaller, people-first firm, we believe in giving interns meaningful, hands-on experience, not just tasks. You’ll work closely with our marketing team and other professionals across the company, gaining real exposure to how we pursue projects, support our clients, and collaborate as a team.

This internship is designed as a direct pathway to a full-time Marketing Coordinator role for individuals who are interested in building a long-term career with us.

Key Activities

  • Help maintain and update marketing content and company information in database
  • Support proposal development, including formatting, editing, and coordination
  • Assist with preparing marketing materials, project sheets, and resumes
  • Contribute to internal communications and marketing initiatives

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience working on real proposals and client pursuits
  • Direct mentorship and day-to-day collaboration with experienced team members
  • Exposure to how our teams work together to deliver for our clients
  • Training in tools such as InDesign, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
  • A strong foundation for a career in marketing within the Architect/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry
  • The opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work that supports real projects and clients

Career Path Opportunity

This internship is designed as a direct pipeline to a full-time Marketing Coordinator role, with high-performing interns given priority consideration for full-time opportunities upon graduation.

Qualification

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Sophomore or junior standing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Interest in writing, editing, and design
  • A passion to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (InDesign is a plus, but not required)

Why Join UNICO

  • A supportive, team-oriented environment where people come first
  • Real responsibility and meaningful work from day one
  • Direct access to leadership and mentorship
  • Opportunity to grow your career with a firm that invests in its people
  • A collaborative culture where your contributions are valued

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment and collaborates closely with leadership, technical staff, and the small, but mighty Marketing team. The position may interact with staff across multiple office locations.
