Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship at the Millard Sheets Library
Interested in art libraries, archives, and digital collections? This summer, join our Library team to work on projects related to our special collections. This position is part of the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship program, which is open to students who reside in L.A. County from backgrounds underrepresented in the arts. No prior work experience is required.
The intern will work on a project to enhance the visibility of content from our special collections, including the Ben Maltz Gallery exhibition archive. Referencing our digital files, they will identify gaps in what has not yet been digitized, scan items accordingly, and edit the images as needed. They will add the edited images to our website and to JSTOR, our new digital collections repository.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program, associate's program, or vocational or technical program below the baccalaureate level. Students enrolled in a second BA or BS program are not eligible.
- Completed at least one semester or two quarters of their program by June 2026; graduating after April 1, 2026.
- Resident of Los Angeles County, attending college outside the region; OR currently attending college in L.A. County.
- U.S. citizen, OR permanent resident. Students with DACA are eligible.
Schedule: 10 weeks between June and August 2026
Hours: 37.5 hours/week; Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, with a daily half-hour lunch break.
Stipend: $7400
