people laugh. Our product line includes best-selling novelty socks, dish towels, aprons, and other giftable items sold in gift shops, boutiques, and specialty retailers nationwide.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative, curious, trend-obsessed Graphic Designer Co-op to join our design team. This role is perfect for someone who loves exploring what’s new in culture, experimenting with AI concepting tools, and translating trends into bold, unique graphics for the gifting world. You’ll work across Socks, Drinkware, and Headwear—helping shape the next wave of Lavley products.

This internship is hands-on in the full product cycle: researching, concepting, designing, refining with factories, and ultimately seeing your work head to market.

What You’ll Do

Trend & Concept Development

- Research trends, color palettes, and cultural moments across interest groups.

- Explore and evaluate AI-generated concepts to understand capabilities and limitations.

- Translate trend insights into bold, giftable graphic ideas.

Design Creation

- Create original graphics for socks, drinkware, and headwear.

- Develop designs that balance creativity with manufacturability.

- Work within category constraints while still pushing for standout visuals.

Product Development Cycle

- Learn the end-to-end process of bringing a product to life.

- Review sales and trend data to build product briefs.

- Collaborate with factories to refine artwork and prepare production-ready files.

- See your designs move from concept to physical samples and ultimately to customers.

What You Bring

- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Product Design, or related field.

- Strong sense of color, composition, and visual storytelling.

- Curiosity about AI tools and how they influence modern design.

- Ability to balance creativity with practical constraints.

- A sense of humor.

- Comfort working onsite with remote Fridays.

Compensation

- $15.16 per hour.

Internship Timing

- Full-time internship, 40 hours per week.

- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, with remote work option on Mondays & Fridays dependent on workload.
