Maintenance Engineering Intern
- Assist with a predictive maintenance project, including basic data collection, observing equipment behavior, and helping the team track maintenance indicators.
- Support the CMMS maintenance team by entering data, updating equipment records, and helping organize work orders.
- Participate in simple, hands‑on maintenance tasks under supervision (equipment inspections, basic measurements, checking components).
- Help identify easy opportunities to improve maintenance processes and document your findings.
- Shadow technicians and engineers to learn how equipment is maintained and how reliability is improved.
- Attend team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks, observations, or project progress.
- Assist with preparing simple maintenance reports, checklists, or continuous improvement documents.
- General engineering knowledge from coursework
- Basic understanding of maintenance concepts (can be learned on the job)
- Comfortable using Windows tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in continuous improvement and learning how processes can be optimized
- Ability to work hands‑on and safely in an industrial environment
- French and English communication skills preferred
