Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Software Developer Intern to support development on the Zoho Creator platform. This is a 1099 contractor role designed for individuals who are serious about building, delivering, and growing their technical skill set in a real-world environment.
This is not a passive internship. You will be expected to contribute, deliver, and communicate like a professional.
Performance-Based Trial (First 2 Weeks)
All candidates will begin with a 2-week evaluation period(s).
During this time, you must:
Demonstrate the ability to write clean, functional code
Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines
Communicate progress clearly and consistently
Continuation beyond this period is based on performance, reliability, and delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and customize applications within Zoho Creator
Write and maintain code using HTML, CSS, and either C++ or Java
Work with databases to manage, retrieve, and structure data
Execute tasks based on defined Statements of Work (SOW)
Deliver assigned features and fixes on time and within scope
Collaborate on improving system functionality and performance
Requirements
Working knowledge of:
HTML
CSS
C++ or Java
Database fundamentals (SQL or equivalent)
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Clear communication and accountability
Willingness to learn Zoho Creator (if not already experienced)
Work Structure
All work is assigned based on project-specific SOWs
Each project has a defined scope, timeline, and budget
Compensation is tied to hours worked and deliverables completed
