The Opportunity:
- We’re looking for a Criminal Justice or Public Safety–focused intern who wants real exposure to how modern police hiring actually works.
- This is not a “coffee-run” internship. You’ll be directly involved in the candidate assessment process, exam administration, research, and new project development designed to improve how agencies identify strong recruits.
- You’ll also play a role in exploring how AI can be leveraged in public safety recruitment — from conducting research to evaluating tools and identifying innovative products we can integrate into our platform.

Time Commitment:
- Approximately 20–25 hours per week, with opportunities for increased hours based on performance and initiative. Role includes assisting with in-person police entry exams across Massachusetts on Saturdays (7:45 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to exam locations throughout Massachusetts.
- Work will be conducted both in person and through regular Zoom sessions.

What You’ll Work On:
- Assisting with administration of police entry exams (compiling attendance rosters, supporting exam facilitation, importing scores).
- Supporting candidate assessment and hiring pipeline projects.
- Researching modern recruitment strategies for law enforcement agencies.
- Exploring and applying AI tools for research, workflow efficiency, platform enhancement, and creation of hiring announcements and content for department clients.
- Evaluating and identifying products and technologies that can be integrated into the GetBadged platform.
- Helping develop new initiatives that evaluate officer readiness and candidate potential.
- Participating in project meetings both in person and via Zoom.

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or a related field.
- Innovative and curious — someone who thinks beyond the standard approach.
- Interested in leveraging AI and emerging technology in real-world applications.
- Personable and professional when interacting with candidates and departments.
- A quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Strong in time management and project tracking — able to take ownership without needing micromanagement.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- Committed to operating with authenticity, professionalism, and integrity.
