At the NYC Department of Buildings, we are responsible for ensuring the safe and lawful use of buildings and properties by enforcing the NYC Construction Codes, Energy Code and Zoning Resolution. Position Responsibilities
Under the direction and supervision of the Deputy Director, Budget and Implementation, the intern will:
- Records class completions in Absorb Learning Management System and maintain electronic attendance records in shared drive.
- Send training correspondences and appointments for training initiatives.
- Generate reports through the LMS and cross-referencing data to help build comprehensive reports for different projects and training populations.
- Provide Training support as needed on special projects (Inspector Graduation and Build Safe Live safe)
- General administrative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
As of June of the Program year the prospective intern must be a student matriculated in a college or be a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year).
NOTE: Appointment to this title is only valid for the duration of the Program, June - August each year.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with a learning management system and/or relational databases - Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Proficient with MS Teams and use of virtual meeting software (scheduling, managing, and configuring meeting rooms)

Residency Requirement
This internship does not require residency in a specific location however, interns must report to the work site in person.
