Position Summary
Perform field data collection to maintain campus utility and base maps (topographic surveys, stakeouts and construction as-built). Use software to create and maintain campus maps and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Field data collection of campus utilities and base map features using land surveying equipment and mobile handheld devices
- Inspect and analyze survey data
- Research, locate and mark underground campus utilities
- Maintain up-to-date campus maps using ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, Catalog and AutoCAD software
- Integrate campus data into the Campus GIS database
Qualifications or Requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Competent in working with computers, GIS systems and other mapping software
- Communicate well both orally and written
Salary Range
Starting wage: $14.00
