Attorney II - General Litigation Eviction Attorney
The Office of General Counsel is actively seeking an Attorney II - General Litigation Eviction Attorney. The position reports to a supervising attorney in the General Litigation Department. The primary purpose of this position is to provide litigation and eviction services to the Jacksonville Housing Authority. Work is performed under the direction of a managing or senior attorney as needed. The position may also be asked to handle other matters within the General Litigation Department, such as: commercial litigation, construction litigation, real property litigation, foreclosure, garnishment, eminent domain, and constitutional claims.
Open Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited law school.
- Possession of a Florida license to practice law.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in litigation.
- Professional legal experience in government and/or evictions proceedings is preferred.
- Admissions and memberships in other organizations or to practice before courts may be required depending upon the respective practice group.
