KUSBDC - Market Research and Data Trends
The Market Research and Data Trends Graduate Assistant will support the center by improving how market research is gathered, interpreted, and delivered to clients. Responsibilities include assisting staff and clients with the use of key research tools such as SBDC Net, Bizminer, Vertical IQ, and other industry and demographic databases. The GA will help review and organize research findings, identify trends, and prepare summaries that are easier for clients to apply to business planning, marketing strategies, and target market decisions.
The GA will also support the integration of AI assisted tools that help summarize reports, highlight insights, and improve the clarity of information provided to clients. This includes helping create templates, educational materials, and guidance documents that show clients how to use research to make informed and strategic business decisions. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear explanations are essential. Experience with research tools, analytics, or business planning is helpful but not required. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, self motivated.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Rachael Wolfe for additional information if needed at rwolfe@kutztown.edu.
