High School History Teacher
Position Overview:
The Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School at Donna Klein Jewish Academy seeks a full-time history teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position entails teaching at least 4 different classes in the following subject areas: American History, World History, US Government, and Economics.
The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates a passion for history and for teaching the subject. They need to be a team player with education experience and willing to adapt their materials and teaching style to meet their students' needs.
Qualified applicants must:
- Possess a relevant undergraduate/graduate degree(s) from an accredited educational institution, and be able to provide transcripts
- Demonstrate passion, interest, and knowledge of a wide variety of historical topics, ranging from World History to American History
- Have relevant teaching experience
- Demonstrate excellence in the classroom and in their ability to formulate engaging and thoughtful lesson plans for students of all academic levels
