Head Lifeguard

Camp Marcella in Rockaway, NJ is in search of a head lifeguardsfor the 2026 season.

Camp Marcella is a sleepaway camp for children and adults with disabilities. We have a saltwater pool and a private lake that we  use for boating and fishing (not swimming). We have canoes, rowboats, and pedal boats.

Lifeguard responsibilities include guarding the pool during free swims, testing the pool, loading campers in and out of boats, and watching over the waterfront from the dock and from a canoe.

This position could either be hourly (20 an hour), or you can live on camp and work full time (you will receive free room and board, and weekly pay if you choose to be full time).
