Ad Analyst Intern (TRU Venture Marketing, Pack Intern, Summer '26)

TRU Venture Marketing is a digital advertising agency based in Reno NV, specializing in search and social mediums. 

  

We also operate a sub-brand, Lease Engine -- a specialized apartment marketing service provided by TRU Venture Marketing. Internship Description: 

Are you looking for a career in marketing where you can leverage data analysis to help drive decisions? Does working with an early stage company with high growth prospects sound exciting? As a Google Ads Analyst Intern, you will work alongside a small team of experienced ad specialists, gaining invaluable insights and skills to build a solid foundation in Google Advertising, Digital Marketing Analytics, and Data Interpretation. 

  

This paid internship offers flexible hours with an opportunity for growth and potential full-time employment. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Complete 360 hours of work as an intern (32-40 hours per week, 9 weeks minimum) 
  • Assist in the setup, optimization, and management of Google Ads campaigns 
  • Conduct research on markets, keywords, and competitors to enhance ad targeting 
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve conversions and cost-efficiency 
  • Collaborate with team members to develop ad copy, display visuals, and effective call-to-action strategies 
  • Assist in creating performance reports and presentations for internal and client reviews 
  • Learn to work with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics software to measure campaign effectiveness 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new ad strategies that drive high-quality leads for multifamily properties 

 

Goals and Expectations of the Intern: 

  • Intern will be expected to show meaningful progress throughout the course of the program, with key milestones being: 
  • Completion of job specific training and coursework 
  • Successful takeover of client ad performance reports with helpful analysis and insight 
  • Successful ad account co-takeover by end of program (ad analyst will be expected to take on their first ad account(s) under the supervision of management by the end of this program. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate OR graduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno after the Spring ‘26 semester  
  • Spring ‘26 or earlier graduates are not eligible for the Wolf Pack STEM Internship Program 
  • Student must be enrolled in a major or minor program in the following colleges: 
    • Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources (CABNR) 
    • Business 
    • Engineering 
    • Science 
    • Public Health/Orvis 
  • This is an analytical role, applicants with a strong understanding of mathematics and statistics will have an advantage 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with multifamily or real estate industry is a plus but not required 
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads, digital advertising, and data analytics 

 

Desired Schedule for Intern: 

Applicants must be able to work at least 20 per hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm PST Monday-Friday. 

  

Official schedule is to be determined depending on intern availability. 

 

Pack STEM internships require interns to complete 360 hours during their internship. It is the intern’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
