🧠Helping People Understand Their Minds — and Move Forward
Â
Who We Are
At Center for Cognition and Communication (CCC), we do deeply meaningful work.
We help children, adolescents, and adults better understand how their brains work — whether they are recovering from concussion or traumatic brain injury, navigating attention and executive functioning challenges, or seeking clarity through comprehensive neuropsychological and ADHD evaluations.
With offices on the Upper East Side of Manhattan (adjacent to Weill Cornell Medical Center) and in Elmhurst, Queens, we serve families across the New York metropolitan area.
Our work is grounded in science — but guided by compassion.
We combine evidence-based assessment, state-of-the-art cognitive remediation tools, and thoughtful therapeutic intervention with something equally important: care, patience, and respect for every patient’s story.
Â
💛 What Matters to Us
We believe:
- A diagnosis should bring clarity — not labels
- Testing should empower patients and families with understanding
- Therapy should build real-world, usable skills
- Growth and recovery look different for every individual
We help our patients:
- Rebuild cognitive skills after brain injury
- Strengthen attention, organization, and executive functioning
- Develop compensatory strategies that truly work in daily life
- Improve academic, professional, and personal functioning
Every team member at CCC plays a role in that process.
