Location: Remote | Duration: 120–365 Days
At FanZ, we design interactive digital experiences that help athletes, creators, and emerging professionals explore real‑world skills through play, simulation, and storytelling. Our work blends sports, entertainment, and technology — giving users a dynamic space to experiment, make decisions, and grow.
As a Scrum Master Intern, you’ll support the development of one of FanZ’s most ambitious initiatives: an interactive, career‑simulation platform where players step into real professional roles, manage teams, solve challenges, and experience how modern industries operate. You’ll help guide cross‑functional teams, remove roadblocks, and ensure our agile workflow runs smoothly as we build meaningful, creator‑centered digital experiences.
What You’ll Do
Agile Facilitation & Team Support
- Lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Support multiple development pods using Scrum methodology
- Keep teams aligned, organized, and focused on delivering high‑impact features
- Maintain momentum across creative, technical, and operational workflows
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, developers, writers, and experience architects
- Communicate goals, milestones, and priorities clearly across all teams
- Ensure departments stay connected and informed throughout the production cycle
- Help translate creative vision into actionable development tasks
Roadblock Removal & Process Improvement
- Identify obstacles that slow development and help teams resolve them quickly
- Support documentation, workflow organization, and continuous improvement
- Help refine requirements with product owners to ensure alignment with project goals
- Strengthen agile practices that support scalable, entertainment‑driven development
Project Leadership & Communication
- Maintain clarity around sprint goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Facilitate communication between leadership, stakeholders, and development teams
- Promote a collaborative, supportive environment where emerging creators can thrive
- Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation
Requirements
- Experience with or training in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate across creative and technical teams
- Background in Project Management, Computer Science, Game Development, or related fields (preferred)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or similar project management platforms
Meeting Schedule
- Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
- Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
- Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
- SkillBridge participants: Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST
