Communications, Data and AI Intern

This position is part of a small cohort of interns working with organizations that support the White River Valley Community Schools. The stipend is funded by the host organization, and the UVM Leahy Institute for Rural
Partnerships will provide free housing for interns at Vermont State University in Randolph, VT. Interns will participate in an orientation, weekly intern cohort workshops for professional development, networking, and
reflection, and a final sharing event in August. Questions about the cohort? Contact UVM Internship Coordinator kristen.andrews@uvm.edu

For Summer 2026, White River Valley Supervisory Union (WRVSU) continues to deliver on our Communications and Outreach Plan LINK, supporting users for our Alma SIS (Student Information System) LINK, and rolling out new Vermont AOE guidance LINK on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Are you a detail-oriented person willing to work independently and as part of a team to help a school system better tell its "story" by supporting better communication between schools and the community? While at the same time working on a data integration project, and striving to help educators incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support teaching and learning across our 10 towns and schools?

If you like to work on data projects, with AI, and/or want the chance to help publish a school newsletter you can be proud of, we have the Summer 2026 position for you.
